Sustainable Operations on the Government Estate

The new Sustainable Operations targets were launched in June 2006 and outline the Government's overall approach to identifying, improving and reporting on Departments’ key sustainable development impacts arising from the management of their Estates, employment of staff and external relations with communities in which they operate.

DFID's Environmental Operation Policy below outlines how DFID will manage the estates operational and support activities in line with the Governments objectives on Sustainable Development.
