About DFID photograph

Service standards

This website seeks to conform wherever possible with the latest external hyperlinkavailable guidance on website design. However, the inclusion of older material on this website may mean that some publications (in PDF format, for example) are not readily accessible to all users.

DFID is happy to supply hard copy or alternate electronic versions of documents for website users with particular requirements where this can be reasonably undertaken. Please email enquiry@dfid.gov.uk should this be required.

DFID aims to make updated information available to website users as rapidly as possible. In the case of press releases and emergency updates, we aim to make these available online as soon as they are released for public access, normally the same day. For contractual notices, such as those issued in the Official Journal of the European Community (OJEC), we aim to make those available once appropriate clearance has been given by OJEC for them to appear. Recruitment notices will normally appear the same day as they are published in the appropriate print media. New publications will normally be made available in PDF and/or other formats not later than one week after the publication of the print version; non-English language versions may take longer to produce.
