Development Awareness Fund

The DAF criteria and guidelines for the 2009/10 funding round are now available.

DFID principally supports activity outside the UK. However, as part of the process of building awareness and understanding of development issues within the UK, the Development Awareness Fund has been established to help civil society organisations whose work aligns with DFID's strategy paper, Building Support for DevelopmentPDF document(106 kb). Funding is available for discrete projects.

DFID contributions from £10,000 to £100,000 per annum towards the total project costs can be considered under the fund. 100% total project costs, up to a maximum  of £100,000 per annum, for a maximum of 3 years.

Guidelines

Please note that the guidelines have been revised. The main change centres around how your project proposal should now be presented to DFID
