The Service Provider will work closely with Chinese project teams to provide demand driven, responsive and quality technical assistance for Rural Health Project (RHP) implementation that is suitable in Chinese context. RHP project is an innovative and reform oriented project to support Government of China (GoC) to implement its rural health reform in selected counties in 8 provinces, ie. Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi, Henan, Shanxi, Chongqing, Jiangsu, and HeiLongjiang. The project objective is 'increased and more equitable access to quality health services, improved financial protection, and better management of public health threats in pilot provinces and counties, with lessons to support reforms in non-project areas'. The Service Provider will bring international expertise and technical assistance including health financing, service delivery and public health; organise study tours and training in relevant technical areas to broaden the visions of local and national project implementers and policy makers in line with project objective. Total value of the contract is 1 million GBP until 31 March 2011.General management consultancy services. |
