The Department for International Development/Foreign and Commonwealth Office Child Protection Programme comes to an end in September 2008. DFID has agreed to a new phase of support to safeguard children in the Overseas Territories. This support has the goal of ensuring that boys, girls and young people grow up in an environment in which they flourish and are protected in all aspects of their lives across the Overseas Territories. DFID is seeking a service provider to work with the Overseas Territories, to provide technical advice and support to help Territories implement their National Action Plans and ensure the policies, procedures and ways of working necessary to safeguard children are in place. The service provider will assess demand for support in the OT's through an initial visit to participating Territories. Once relationships with managers and practitioners have been created, the service provider will provide ongoing advice, support and access to resources. |

There is the possibility of an

satisfactory performance of the service provider. Where circumstances
require further extensions beyond the original contract duration/agreed
