As part of its institutional modernisation programme to support the development of all the elements required of a modern audit service, the UK Department for International Development (DFID) wishes to contract a Service Provider (SP) for up to 18 months to act as a Strategy Implementation Partner to the Audit Service of Sierra Leone. The SP will: a. provide support to the senior managers of the Audit Service in the further development and implementation of their Strategic Development Framework, including developing and implementing a programme of senior management coaching for Senior ASSL staff; . b. provide a range of back-office support and advice on strategic issues of relevance to the ASSL and to the achievement of the outputs of the programme of support; c. assist the Audit Service to manage the Technical Assistance programme in 2009; provide recommendations to the Auditor General for the management of inputs from all technical assistance under the project and liaising with the technical assistance provider in identifying the most effective programme inputs; d. assist the Audit Service to develop detailed technical assistance needs for the years 2010 and 2011, in the light of a proposed mid-term evaluation of the project in October 2009.
