DFID, on behalf of St Helena Government (SHG), is seeking a service provider for a three-year education sector support programme. The service provider will be responsible for establishing links between St Helena Education Department (SHED) and UK education institutions (schools, LEA, teacher training institutions). The service provider will deliver teacher training through short-term secondments from experienced UK based practitioners, provide support in the area of increased use of ICT for teaching and learning, including setting up GCSE, AS/A2 courses to be delivered by supported distance learning, support SHED with a curriculum and management review in the island's secondary school and if required, provide support to the SHG UK Representative with education staff recruitment. The service provider will provide an off island programme manager who will be responsible for ensuring the technical interventions are completed in line with the logical framework and the terms of reference.Education and training services. |
