C1 Administrative Assistant (Kabul, Afghanistan)

The British Government’s Department for International Development (DFID), one of Afghanistan’s major donors, invites applications for the post of temporary Admin Assistant in its Kabul office. DFID Afghanistan is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to fill the post of Admin Assistant in its Office Management Team. This is a temporary 6 month contract, with the possibility of being made permanent at the end of that period. The post is ideal for someone with experience of working in a busy office environment, who enjoys being part of a highly motivated team, which has established a reputation for attention to outcomes, flexibility and willingness to cooperate with others to meet shared objectives. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Director of Policy Division

Director, United Nations, Conflict and Humanitarian Division (UNCHD)

Applications are invited from existing members of the Senior Civil Service (SCS) at Director level or Deputy Directors on promotion and to people who can satisfy the requirements laid out in the job description and the nationality criteria. UNCHD manages DFID’s relations with the development agencies of the United Nations and the Commonwealth and with the international humanitarian agencies.
